Celebrate one of South Africa’s top grape varieties this October at the Durbanville Hills Bubbles and Blanc festival

Hosted as part of the annual Season of Sauvignon festivities in the picturesque Durbanville Wine Valley, Bubbles and Blanc will delight guests with Sauvignon Blanc inspired activities including wine and bubbly tastings, live entertainment, an oyster and bubbly bar and Sauvignon Blanc inspired cocktails. Tastings close at 16h00 but the event ends at 18h00.

Durbanville Hills is once again part of the wine valley’s most anticipated celebrations - the annual Season of Sauvignon. Providing guests with the chance to Explore Durbanville, the festivities will consist of delectable food, great entertainment and award-winning wines.

Famed for its tropical fruit flavours and freshness on the palate, the Durbanville Hills Sauvignon Blanc and the brand’s recently launched sauvignon-inspired sparkling wine will be two of the weekend’s wine showstoppers. Guests are encouraged to grab a glass, sit back and relax on the lawns while enjoying the soulful sounds of Paige Mac, a fan favourite at the winery, as well as a performance by The Renegades.

A variety of Cape Town’s best food trucks will be onsite to offer guests everything from burgers to tacos, sandwiches and oysters as well as cheese and Charcuterie platters.

Moms and dads can kick back and relax while sipping on a glass of crisp Sauvignon Blanc while the little ones enjoy the jumping castle, pedal go-carts, sand-art, face painting, magicians, balloon twisting, bow and arrows and lots more. The Rugby Curry Cup final will also be screened inside the tasting area for those die-hard fans.

Martin Moore, Cellar Master at Durbanville Hills, says that along with the team, he looks forward to showcasing Durbanville Hills’ new vintages to guests over the weekend. “We had an exceptional harvest this year and the wines produced truly reflect this. We look forward to welcoming guests back to the winery where they will be able to enjoy all things Sauvignon.”

Tickets are available to purchase via Webtickets at a cost of only R100 per adult and R50 per child.
