Intro :  Enjoy an evening of wine and music with the sounds of local artist Mathys Roets at Durbanville Hills Wines on Sunday, November 4.

Description : While the man with the smooth voice is well known for his Afrikaans compositions, Mathys' songs also do justice to music legends such as Cat Stevens, Neil Diamond and Roger Whittaker. With a track record of 14 albums, his biography, Steeds Mathys, released in July 2010, and his latest album, Rembrandt se Meisie in die Maan (2011), snatching a spot on DKNT (Kyknet top 10), Mathys has done the South African music industry proud.

Stretch out under the olive trees while listening to the melodic tales of love, heartbreak and new-found hope while sipping on your favourite Durbanville Hills' wine. The Eatery at Durbanville Hills will be selling delicious chicken burgers as well as boerewors swirls served on a ciabatta roll with all the trimmings. For an extra special touch pre-book a decadent picnic basket for two at a cost of R295 per basket which include a bottle of Durbanville Hills Merlot Rosé. Picnic baskets need to be booked 48 hours before the concert.

Cost: R100 per person - tickets available at www.webtickets.co.za (Includes a crystal Durbanville Hills wine glass).

Tickets also available at the gate at R120 per person. Children under 12 enter at no charge. Please bring a blanket (no chairs permitted). Guests may bring their own picnics.

Only Durbanville Hills' wines are permitted. These will be on sale throughout the evening along with hot chocolate, coffee, tea and soft drinks.
