KWV Heritage Collection
Abraham Perold Professor Abraham Perold was KWV chief oenologist from 1928 until his death thirteen years later. He is recognised as the father of the Pinotage varietal and considered a pioneer of South African viticulture. Professor Perold played a key role in KWV's Heritage. He dedicated his life and his genius as a master of wine to influence every aspect of wine production.
