Directions to The House of Krone, Twee Jonge Gezellen Wine Estate, Tulbagh.
Take the N1 from Cape Town
Turnoff at KLAPMUTS onto R44 (Agter Paarl Rd) in the direction of Wellington. 
As you approach Wellington (Sedgewicks Distillery on LHS and the Wellington golf course ahead on the Left and on the Right), there is a sign which shows R44 turning LEFT (to Hermon, Gouda, Ceres) (what they forget to mention here is that this is ALSO the way to Tulbagh...) So, 
Turn LEFT here (ie the Distillery will still be on your left and the golf course will now be on your right) (ie do NOT drive over the railway bridge) 
Follow R44 (past Hermon turnoff, past Voelvlei dam, past Gouda turnoff).
[NB At the Gouda turnoff, the road 'becomes' the R46 and meanders through the Nuwekloof Pass (not much of a Pass) into the Tulbagh valley.] 
3km after coming out of kloof, turn LEFT at sign which says TULBAGH and continue until you reach a STOP sign at the start of the village. 
Turn LEFT into the Main Street of Tulbagh and continue (through village) until shops end (1km)
[Once you reach the end of the street there will be a STOP sign]
Turn LEFT here and continue on this tar road for 6.5km at which point you will drive over a single lane bridge [over a river.] 
As the tar ends and the gravel road begins, you will see another TJG sign. 
Turn up to the RIGHT here and follow the 'brick road' to the parking area under the trees (next to the cellar which has the ponds in front of it)

Approx.Distances:
Cape Town to Tulbagh = 125km
[Klapmuts to Tulbagh = 80km]
[Wellington to Tulbagh = 62km]

NB [Alternatively, if you are coming from the Stellenbosch side, take R44 out of Stellenbosch (past Nietvoorbij Institute and Morgenhof) and follow the above instructions from 'KLAPMUTS']
