Top 100 2013 Wines tasting in Cape Town
The Top 100 Wines chosen for 2013 were on show at the Hilton Upper Eastside Hotel in Salt River in Cape Town on Thurs 16th May 2013. Cederberg wines had 5 wines in the selection - quite a coup!

Stellenbosch Festival Harvest Parade Jan 2013
Judy Brower and Kevin Kidson from wine.co.za attended the 2013 Stellenbosch Blessing of the Harvest parade. Pick n Pay are the main sponsor of the 2013 Stellenbosch Harvest Festival and to kick off the festivities, the wineries in the area got their tractors and bakkies and trucks and drummies and paraded through the streets of Stellenbosch for the inaugural Harvest Parade. Stellenbosch Festival Harvest Parade

Wine.co.za puts its March Spotlight on Asara's Cabernet Sauvignon Blanc
Asara winery is on the Polkadraai road just outside Stellenbosch and it has been developed by owner Markus Rahmann over the last 13 years into a beautiful hotel & restaurants. Winemaker, Francois Joubert, is very creative and is pushing the boundaries with a few of their wines. Visit the estate to find out more about their vine-dried berry wine! We focus on their Cabernet Sauvignon Blanc this month, which has a light blush, from being on the skins for a very short time. This is a white wine from a red grape - something not commonly done. It is fresh and delicious.
