Graham Beck Wines - Changing The Game Plan With The Game Reserve
It was the world-renowned British broadcaster and naturalist Sir David Attenborough who said, "People are not going to care about animal conservation unless they think that animals are worthwhile." With this in mind the team who created the latest offering in the Graham Beck Wines portfolio proudly launched The Game Reserve to South African media on Thursday April 4, the only wine brand in the world associated with a private nature reserve that can demonstrate measurable actions taken to conserve the natural environment.

Veritas 2012 Awards Dinner at CTICC - 6 Oct 2012
The CTICC was abuzz again last night with the South African Wine industry during the annual glittering Veritas Awards dinner. Over 1744 wines were entered, with only 58 achieving Double Gold. Old faithfuls KWV(7 Double Golds, 7 Golds), Nederburg(4DG 12G), Jordan (3DG), Simonsig(2DG 7G), Boplaas(2DG,3G), Cederberg(2DG,2G), Windmeul(2DG,2G), Guardian Peak(2DG,1G) Perdeberg(1DG,2G), Graham Beck(1DG,1G), Kleine Zalze(1DG,1G) and Rooiberg, Villiera(1DG, 1G) were some of the top achievers, with a few newer names in there too - Marianne(1 DG, 3 G) & Nabygelegen(1 DG). Hat's off to the winners, judges, organisers and catering staff - wonderful evening.

Platter 2012 launch at Vineyard Hotel
The sunshine yellow Platter guide was launched on 8th Nov at the Vineyard Hotel, with Boekenhoutskloof being Winery of the year as well as winning the SuperQuaffer award for their Wolftrap White 2010. Cape Chamonix Reserve 2010 (Pinot Noir) won Red Wine of the year, and Badsberg Badslese 2009 (Natural Sweet) won White wine of the year.

The Franschhoek Magic of Bubbles Cap Classic and Champagne Festival
