Druk My Niet's Hot Indian Curry Nights
Druk My Niet boutique winery held it's first Hot Indian Curry Night's event on Thursday 26 January 2012. The evening was a great success, supported by over 30 visitors, all of whom enjoyed the evening immensely. The guests were treated to 3 home-made curries by farm owners Georg and Dorothee Kirchner. These curries, vegetable, chicken and lamb, were all accompanied by Dorothee's home-made naan bread. The meals were served on the Wine Cellar stoop, overlooking the beautiful view of the wine farm. The guests enjoyed wines from the farm, whilst watching another magnificent Cape sunset.

Druk My Niet: Grand Cellar Opening
Druk My Niet Wine Estate is proud to announce the grand opening of our wine cellar, as well as the launch of our first vintage of Flagship wines. Druk My Niet is a boutique wine cellar located at the foothills of the Klein Drakenstein Mountains in the Paarl valley. This historical farm has been renovated over the last 7 years and now produces wines in the historic cellar, since 2009. Guests were greeted with an aperitif of our C68 Chenin Blanc - pre-release taster. The Flagship wines launched were as follows: Invictus - our 2009 vintage of Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon and Cabernet Franc. T3 - our own unique wine, is the first of it's kind world-wide. This 2009 vintage is a blend of Tannat, Tinta Amarella and Tempranillo.

Druk My Niet opening of the Cellar
Druk my Niet celebrated the opening of their new cellar and the release of their flagship wines - the Invictus & T3 at the farm on Friday 11 Nov 2011. Andreas Mayer, 2-star Michelin chef from Schloss Prielau at his Mayers restaurant in Austria cooked up a storm for the guests. The T3 is apparently the first of its kind in the world, made up of 3 varietals of equal part of Tannat, Tinta Amarella & Tempranillo. They simultaneously also released an exciting Grappa made from the same 3 varietals, made by Helmut Wilderer of Wilderer's Distillery
