Rootstock explores Green issues. You are invited to join our last Rootstock session for the year on November 24 at Backberg Estate, near Paarl at 17h30 for 18h00 start.
Rootstock is a group of individuals in the South African wine industry who get together from time to time to explore issues of interest.  Membership is free - all you need to do is register on www.rootstock.co.za and we will keep you abreast of events.  Bookings for events are essential - online only. We need you to register individually so that we can keep you infomed. We generally meet a few times a year where we invite speakers or a panel to explore relevant and pressing issues.

For our next session - we have invited four passionate producers who are making a difference in their field. From Carbon Neutral to Biodynamic farming - and everything in between...Each producer has a 10-minute slot to present his or her approach, after which we will take questions and encourage debate. If you have questions you would like to present to these producers before the event - please send to info@rootstock.co.za and we will pass on to them to respond on the night.

The following producers will be presenting:
  • Michael Back from Backsberg on CARBON NEUTRAL
  • Michelle du Preez from Bon Cap on their ORGANIC approach
  • Johnathan Grieve from Avondale -  on their BIO LOGIC approach
  • Johan Reyneke from Reyneke Wines - on his BIODYNAMIC approach
We welcome your active participation! Come and share what you are doing...
