First launched in South Africa in
2008, and already a firm favourite, this beautiful port is made
from traditional port varieties Touriga Nacional, Tinta Barocca and Souzão. The combination has resulted in a port with a
lovely vibrant blush colour, rich ripe flavours of fresh red berries and a
long, lingering aftertaste.
Although
best served chilled, the team at De Krans in Calitzdorp have worked their magic
to ensure that it can be enjoyed during the colder months too. What better way
than to treat Mom with a glass of De Krans Cape Pink, served at room
temperature, with a bowl of her favourite olives, nuts or delicious pâté, while
she enjoys a relaxing moment (or two).
