Quality purveyors of biltong, Joubert &
Monty, and some of the best-known names in South Africa’s Pinotage pantheon
will bring their products to the festival on on Friday, 22 August from
17h00-21h00 and Saturday, 23 August from 12h00-18h00.
Lanzerac, L’Avenir, Raka Wines,
Rhebokskloof, Perdeberg and Ayama wines are some of the wineries who produce
outstanding examples of our local grape, and a comparative tasting between
these wines will be an interesting exercise for festival visitors.
During the event wine lovers can taste and
buy more than 100 wines directly from a range of producers representing the
best from all over the country. A wide selection to suit every palate and wallet, ranging from
Red, White, Dry and Sweet right through to Port, Bubbly and Pot-Stilled Brandy,
is on offer.
In between tastings, visitors can enjoy
Biltong from Joubert & Monty, Tramezzini from Dulce Café and sweet and
savoury eats from Café Fego. Lounge
seating areas for socialising will ensure a casual vibe and an enjoyable food
& wine experience as visitors are welcome to buy something to eat and enjoy
it with a glass of wine on site.
Participating wineries include: Ayama Wines, Beau Belle Wines, Blaauwklippen
Vineyards, De Krans, Du Toitskloof Cellar, Groenland, Mount Vernon, Koelenhof
Wynkelder, Lanzerac, L’Avenir Stellenbosch, Orange River Cellars, Perdeberg
Wines, Raka Wines, Rhebokskloof, Ruitersvlei , Vergenoegd Wine Estate, Villiera

disadvantaged children, especially those impacted by alcohol, is the charity
beneficiary of the festival and will be present to spread their message and
raise funds and awareness.
