Zonnebloem features in
the "best for last" 13th surprise room conceived by top South African
designer, Haldane Martin.
Invited guests first
view the exhibition of individual rooms created and furnished by leading local
décor specialists, giving special attention to Martin's gorgeous serving table
crafted exclusively for the brand. Then everyone joins chef Ilaria Guidi at her
table downstairs for lunch. She cooks the way her grandmother taught her in the
family home near Bologna and recreates those flavours with a contemporary,
local expression to match a selection of current vintage Zonnebloem wines.
The exhibition, at 219
Albert Road, Woodstock runs until the end of August.
