Lakeside
Lodge luxury hotel and spa at Sedgefield on the Garden Route has a two-night

Benguela
Cove Lagoon wine estate’s hotel at Lakeside Lodge recently won a five star
rating - the only one in Sedgefield and the highest award by the TGCSA (Tourism
Grading Council of South Africa).
The
owners, Penny Streeter OBE and real estate developer Nick Rea, have fully
refurbished the boutique hotel and its nine luxury bedroom suites, in its
stunning setting on the banks of the Swartvlei Lake in Wilderness National
Park.
The
award recognises the achievement in creating a unique luxury experience for
short or long breaks. It features nine meticulously designed suites, swimming
pool, spa and water sports facilities, and fine dining in the Benguela
Brasserie & Restaurant.
There
are three room designs: the Superior and Luxury Suites feature beautiful linen,
king size beds and luxurious pile carpets, complimentary toiletries, fluffy
towels and bathrobes, all softly illuminated by chandeliers. There are suites
linked by adjoining doors, ideal for family groups.
Rooms
are lavishly equipped with air conditioning, flat screen TVs, complimentary
Wi-Fi, digital radio and iPod docking station. The third design, for the
Honeymoon Suite, is perfect for newlyweds and couples planning a special break,
with a four-poster bed and spacious en suite bathroom with Jacuzzi spa bath and
a walk-in shower.
Leisure
facilities include a jetty, boat launching and non-motorised watersports:
sailing, stand-up paddling, windsurfing, and kayaking. There is also fishing,
and mountain bikes and a small boat are provided for guest use, with
water-skiing, wakeboarding and sundowner cruisers upon request. Airport
transfers and a chauffeur-driven minibus are available.
The
Easter offer is for two adults sharing, with a minimum two-night stay for R1250
per person per night in a luxury suite, available until 14th April.
