The idea for this South African first initially came to Markus Rahmann, the owner of the estate, once the building of the new five star facilities was under way. "I was already blessed with a range of award winning wines, but I felt that we needed something really special to commemorate the opening of our new facilities - so I thought why not do a white Cabernet Sauvignon, which no one in South Africa has ever thought about trying before? So we did and it has turned into an extraordinary wine, not just a gimmick but a wonderful alternative to the usual Sauvignon and Chardonnay currently available on the market." Only available directly from the farm at R55 a bottle, this wine is definitely one to add to your collection - and do not wait, with only a limited production of 2,500 bottles, you do not want to let this opportunity slip through your fingers!
