Utter indulgence is what you can expect when savouring the stylish J.C. Le Roux bubblies and irresistible nougat pairings on offer at South Africa's leading house of sparkling wines.
Situated in the heart of the picturesque Devon Valley in the Stellenbosch Winelands, The House of J.C. Le Roux is renowned for making fine vintage Méthode Cap Classique and sparkling wines to suit every palate. The "Bubbly and heavenly bites" tastings cost R40 per person and guests will get the opportunity to indulge in five exquisite J.C. Le Roux bubblies paired with five delightful treats crafted by Rodé Handmade Confectionery.

First on the list is the J.C. Le Roux Pinot Noir with Nougat in Dark Chocolate. The acidity of the Pinot Noir brings out the richness of the almond and honey in the nougat for a sophisticated taste sensation that is not too sweet. This elegant Méthode Cap Classique (MCC) complements the chocolate and breaks through to the nougat. The nutty biscuit qualities of the Pinot Noir from the time spent on the lees and the hints of soft berry fruits melds together with the dark chocolate and nougat in the mouth to keep the tastebuds spellbound.

The J.C. Le Roux Pinot Noir Rosé with Rosewater Turkish Delight pairing is a true winner as the rosewater brings out the red berries and floral character of the Rosé, creating a sensual and decadent texture seducing the tastebuds with a soft and luscious mouthfeel. The J.C. Le Roux La Valleé with Pecan and Praline Nougat is an indulgent treat of sweet honey and nuts that harmonises perfectly with the golden hue, creamy buttery tones and notes of pears and litchis of this palate pleasing Méthode Cap Classique.

The J.C. Le Roux La Fleurette with Caramel Coated Cashews features the new J.C. Le Roux naturally elegant rosé sparkling wine - La Fleurette. The tropical fruitiness, red berries and floral tones from the Muscat makes this joyful bubbly the perfect match for this sweet, nutty indulgence.

The J.C. Le Roux Le Domaine and Vanilla Fudge pairing will bring the perfect ending to your sweet heavenly journey. The tropical character of the Sauvignon Blanc and floral influence of the Muscat cuts the sweetness of the fudge leaving your tastebuds wanting for more.

All the Rodé sweet delights are handmade and are all natural handcrafted products of the highest quality.
