In following the ethos of the Design Indaba objective of promoting the best South Africa has to offer to an international audience, the wine partnership for Design Indaba has become one of the most sought after sponsorship opportunities on the circuit. For the 2011 Design Indaba, this coveted partnership has been awarded to Leopard’s Leap. Design Indaba has over the years attracted the who’s who of the creative community to the Mothercity and the 2011 conference and exhibition is no exception. Alberto Alessi, head of marketing and design for the Italian design house, Alessi is amongst this years’ guest line-up, as well as data visualiser Ben Fry and South Africa’s very own Mark Shuttleworth. For the seventh year running, the conference has sold out weeks before the event, and in response to the continual demand, the organisers have launched the Simulcast in both Cape Town and Johannesburg.
