After the success of last year's inaugural Festival, the 2011 Robertson Wine Valley Festival at Kloofzicht Lodge, over the weekend of 17 - 18 September, is definitely an event not to be missed!
A convenient and comfortable 40 minute drive from Johannesburg and Pretoria, take the time to escape from the urban hub-bub and head out to the country for a fun-filled outing amidst the untrammelled beauty of nature at Kloofzicht Lodge and meet the Robertson Wine Valley’s winemakers. Fine wine will be the order of the day, as just short of thirty acclaimed and boutique wineries afford Gautengers the opportunity to enjoy Robertson Wine Valley wines on their doorstep.

The line-up of Robertson Wine Valley wineries showcasing their fine wines will include key exhibitors like: Excelsior, Major’s Hill, Rietvallei, Robertson Winery, Rooiberg Winery, Van Loveren, Weltevrede and Zandvliet to name but a few. And with wines being sold on site, this event provides the perfect opportunity to stock up on your favourite Robertson wines, renowned for their great value, from easy-drinking to top-of-the-range.

In addition to excellent wines and gastronomic treats for the whole family, a wide variety of activities will make for an ideal family outing, with fly-fishing in the Lodge’s six dams, face-painting, jumping castles and much more.

Tickets: cost R130 per person per day or R210 for a weekend pass (includes a R10 “plant-a-tree” donation); children under 18 enter free of charge but there will be a minimal charge for children’s activities.
Parking: designated parking areas with ease of access will be available
