It pays tribute to the origin of Cabernet Sauvignon in the 17th century in south-western France, when Cabernet Franc and Sauvignon Blanc were crossed to produce this red varietal, the main component of the famous Bordeaux blends. This particular wine is produced from grapes grown in specific vineyards in the fertile Tulbagh Valley. The ruby-red colour, cigar box aromas complemented by cherry and chocolate and good fruit on the palate, make this an eminently drinkable medium-bodied wine, guaranteed to make each sip a treat!
