Tulbagh Winery
Founded in 1906, in the fertile valley known as Het Land van Waveren, Tulbagh Winery has been producing quality wines ever since. Producing some of the country's best, Tulbagh Wines cover the full spectrum of South Africa's best cultivars with the emphasis on fruity blends that reflect the friendliness of the region.
2010 Tulbagh Winery Sauvignon

Tulbagh Winery offers you this new wine, a delicious blend of 70% Cabernet Sauvignon and 30% Sauvignon Blanc. It pays tribute to the origin of Cabernet Sauvignon in the 17th century in south-western France, when Cabernet Franc and Sauvignon Blanc were crossed to produce this red varietal, the main component of the famous Bordeaux blends.

This particular wine is produced from grapes grown in specific vineyards in the fertile Tulbagh Valley. The ruby-red colour, cigar box aromas complemented by cherry and chocolate and good fruit on the palate, make this an eminently drinkable medium-bodied wine, guaranteed to make each sip a treat!

Ideal on its own or paired with light red meat dishes such as carpaccio, burgers and biltong. It retails at R35 per bottle.

2010 Tulbagh Winery Pinotage Doux

Tulbagh Winery presents a Limited Release of this delectable, sweet, sparkling red wine – produced entirely from Pinotage grapes grown in specific vineyards in the verdant Tulbagh Valley. Aromas of sweet berry fruit and spice marry well with potpourri flavours and soft, structured tannins. This easy drinking bubbly has a lingering aftertaste.

Can be served with a variety of dishes but it comes into its own when paired with desserts such as strawberries, shortbread or almond cookies. A must for celebrations! At R45 per bottle, it delivers excellent value.
