The WSWA Annual Convention and Exposition, which was held at Caesar’s Palace in Las Vegas from 2 to 5 April 2012, is the largest gathering of America's wine and spirits distributors with suppliers from around the world who seek to highlight, grow or enter their brands in the United States marketplace. At this year’s convention, Avondale’s range of nature-friendly wines was awarded the following:
- Anima Chenin Blanc - Double Gold and Best in Show award
- Samsara Syrah - Double Gold and Best in Show award
- Armilla Brut MCC - Double Gold
- Cyclus white blend - Silver
- La Luna red blend - Silver
Avondale’s Proprietor Johnathan Grieve is honoured to have received so many accolades. "It proves Avondale’s philosophy that by taking your time and seeking sustainable solutions in the wine-making process, one can achieve spectacular results. It is a great reward for us to be recognised internationally and we thank our fantastic team for all their hard work."
