As the cold tightens its grip everywhere across the country and winter truly sets in, we are able to enjoy the warm hospitality, cosy fire places and all the food and wine offerings at the wine tasting rooms across the winelands.
Its time to crack open the port or special South African brandy and drink a toast to all wine producers, home and abroad.

We welcome the new Cape Wine Masters, celebrate their special achievements and introduce the ICWM Personality of 2012. We also report back on the exciting sommelier programme, Dave March debates the wines of South Africa and Lynne Sherriff visits Sicily.
