Opstal Live and Vars

It's time again for our Breedekloof region's annual Soetes and Soup Festival and this year, on 21 July, we're pulling out all the stops.
During the day our Opstal Vars farmers market will provide all the food, drink and goodies you need. Opstal Vars is a destination – a meeting place for fresh produce, fresh ideas and of course fresh people. There will be exclusive products, everyday products, products with a story and in general out of the ordinary. With a jumping castle for the kids the whole family is welcome and catered for!

And as the sun sets the sound check will be done as we prepare for an Opstal Live evening with South Africa’s premier female rock artist, Karen Zoid. She is currently touring the country launching her new album, Zoid Afrika and we are fortunate enough to have her performing at Opstal. (Bookings essential)

So, if it’s Opstal Vars or Karen Zoid or both. Join us for a day of fun, because oh yes ... Opstal is home to everyone!
