Amorim tracks latest green progress

Corticeira Amorim, the cork division of Portugal's Amorim Group, has confirmed a 50% carbon footprint reduction within five years as the firm released its sixth annual Sustainability Report.
The report also highlighted Amorim’s progress in renewable energy use, with 60% of units now powered by cork waste and cork dust.

Looking beyond Portugal, the company calculated a 10% increase in the number of corks being recycled worldwide compared to 2010.
