Anna Foundation Year-End Showcase

On 13 November 2012 the Anna Foundation Year-End Function was held at the Rustenberg Wine Estate Community Hall. Guests included farm owners, local businesses, funders and friends of the non-profit organisation.
In her presentation, Founding Director, Anna Brom highlighted the current plight of the education system in South Africa and the dire need for holistic intervention in rural areas, such as the Anna Foundations 3 Rs "Reading, Running, Right-ing" programme. Anna Foundation staff, including 3 Rs facilitators (who receive on-going training to implement the programme) shared with guests what measures have been taken to assist the farm children grow in their literacy and numeracy skills, physical development and life orientation during the year.
