It's a good start to the day when you can read something positive but it's even better when you can share it with others.

Entries into the Adoro charity competition have got us feeling proud to be in SA. Here's a selection of stories to get you all warm and fuzzy.

Tandy Sinclair:
We have the most beautiful Jack Russell who has one eye covered with a brown patch and the other one clear. We rescued her from the back of a car where she was living with her dog mommy, and human owner. Not long after we got her, we bought a Boxer to keep her company. When the Boxer died she was bereft and so we went to the Animal Welfare Society in Gordons Bay to look for a Jack Russell puppy to keep her company. We stopped at the first cage and this ‘too cute’ puppy came running to us, she jumped up and down nonstop! She has one eye covered, just like our Patch! We knew right there and then that she was our dog. We took her home that day and kept her name “Molly” that she has been given. She has slowly but surely crept into our hearts and life would not be the same without her. She is 2.5 years old now and will always be a small dog. I would love this charity to win as they cover a large region of the Western Cape and need financial assistance to purchase food for all the animals they lovingly look after.
