Wine.co.za is committing itself to offering any charity in the winelands, or with a connection to the winelands, a chance to raise its profile through positive exposure. This month, led by Adoro, the focus was on animal welfare and the response has been heart-warming. The premise was for people to pick their favourite animal charity and to tell us their adoption story from said charity. The winning story for this month will win R5000 for their chosen charity. No horror stories, just beautiful rescue stories from people who have experienced first-hand the good that South African charities are doing. See the Adoro Facebook Page for the stories and pics.. This is why we want to continue doing this, whether it is a monthly or bi-monthly event. We're looking for charities to step forward as well as sponsors so that we can carry on with these 'giving back' competitions. There are many people making a difference in the world, and we would like to celebrate them and ensure that those that need assistance will receive what they need.
