The We Luv Wine event at Cape Gate Mall on Thursday and Friday evening seems set to beat the winter chill with winemakers, wine lovers and celebs joining in the fun. Landskroon Estate's winemaker, Abraham van Heerden had the pleasure last week of meeting up with models Sheree-lee & Michelle Gildenhuys to share some wine expertise.

Landskroon Estate is one of the exhibitors at the Cape Gate Shopping Precinct’s Centre Court  on 20 and 21 June from 17h00-21h00 and grabbed the opportunity to show off some of their wines and their much-loved "Port" as a preview to the festival.

Wine lovers can taste and buy more than 150 wines directly from the producers.  A wide selection  to suit every palate and wallet, ranging from red, white, dry and sweet right through to Cape Ruby (Port), bubbly and pot-stilled brandy, is on offer.

The exhibitors are  Avontuur Estate, Checkers Oddbins, Checkers Wines of the World, Croydon Wine Estate, Du Toitskloof Wine Cellar, Groenland, Hidden Valley Wines, Kleine Zalze Wines, Koelenhof, Landskroon Wines, Lord’s Winery, Lourensford Wine Estate, Orange River Wines, Perdeberg, Quoin Rock, Rhebokskloof, Riebeek Cellars, Solms-Delta Wine Estate, Two Oceans – Quay 4 Wines and Vergenoegd Wine Estate.

abuzzWine, in association with Cybercellar,  will be introducing their new smart phone or tablet apps at the fest, which provides  information, tasting notes and purchasing & delivery options about all of South Africa’s top wines in the most user-friendly way .
