Loads of live entertainment sure to get you grooving at the 2013 Pick n Pay Knysna Oyster Festival

 The Pick n Pay Knysna Oyster Festival already boasts with over 100 sport, food and lifestyle events on the calendar, and now festival organisers present a line-up of Garden Route local and national muso’s to get your feet tapping at the main festival grounds.
“We’re celebrating our 30th anniversary with another festival first,” said Festival Manager Nicci Rousseau-Schmidt. “Our festival stage at the main venue on Waterfront Drive will host a variety of bands and musicians throughout the ten days of the festival, with at least one performance on 9 of the ten days.”

Festival goers can look forward to grooving to the sounds of Rock Cafe Davey Mac and Co, Wendy Oldfield and Lionel Bastos, Mali and Me, Tigger and Lionel, Ian Hall, Nothing Alike, Bullet, Brian Finch and popular Wilderness-based duo Wild Lettuce.

Ticket holders to the Pick n Pay Flavours of Knysna on the 3rd of July will be entertained by Afro Quartez and Fire n Styx, while 2009 South African Idol Jason Hartman and the Mike McCallagh Band are both sure to make the Pick n Pay Cape Times Knysna Forest Marathon and Half Marathon After Party at the festival grounds THE party of the 2013 festival.

“Music is the main ingredient in any recipe for a successful festival,” Nicci concluded. “And we’ve taken great care in selecting the finest musical ingredients for the 2013 Pick n Pay Knysna Oyster Festival. So join the party and head to the main festival grounds on Waterfront Drive between 28 June and 7 July for some tantalising tunes.”
