Hotel Izulu And Grande Provence Team Up In August

The 5-star Hotel Izulu in Ballito will team up with the beautiful Grande Provence Heritage Wine Estate in Franschhoek for the Hotel’s monthly wine market.
On Sunday, August 25 from 12h00, Executive Chef at Hotel Izulu, Tyrone Sumner will pair his flavourful menu with the multi award-winning Grande Provence wines as well as the lifestyle collection, Angels Tears, at R175.00 per adult.

Guests will be entertained by the band ‘Afritude’ whilst enjoying various food and wine pairing options such as Chicken Caesar Salad with lettuce, parmesan croutons and boiled egg paired with Angels Tears Sauvignon Blanc and Caldeirada – Portuguese fish stew with squid, mussels, hake, new potatoes, peppers, tomato, white wine and saffron paired with Grande Provence Sauvignon Blanc.

Further options include Roast Loin of Pork with apple, cider, Rosemary and fennel, cannellini beans and tomato chilli jam paired with Grande Provence Chardonnay, Spaghetti alla Bolognaise paired with Angel Tears Red and Beef Bourguignon – braised beef with red wine, bacon and pearl onions, roast garlic mashed potatoes paired with the Grande Provence Shiraz.

Kids are able to enjoy a selection of burgers, hot dogs and ice cream cones. Also on offer will be Hotel Izulu’s Deli which will include soup, cheese boards, breads, biscuits and the famous fudge.

All of the wines are available for purchase at a special reduced price by the bottle. Wine chillers are also available to purchase at R79 each.
