WOSA
WOSA is delighted to announce the appointment of Jim Clarke to assist Annette Badenhorst in our New York office.
Jim Clarke has been part of the New York wine scene for over ten years. For several years he was the Wine Director at Megu, a high-end Japanese restaurant, and over the past two years he has rebuilt the wine program at Armani Ristorante inside the clothing company's flagship store on Fifth Avenue.
In addition to his restaurant work Jim is also an in-demand writer and speaker on all things wine, contributing to both consumer and trade magazines like Sommelier Journal, Beverage Media, World of Fine Wine, and Wine Enthusiast as well as newspapers like the New York Times and San Francisco Chronicle. Jim has visited the Cape several times and written and spoken about South African wines on numerous occasions; in addition he has been assisting at WOSA events in the U.S. on an occasional basis for several years. When he's not working with wine he's usually busy trying to keep his 1978 Triumph Spitfire on the road.
Jim joins us on 1 September and will be accompanying the US group to London for The Beautiful South.
