Rhebokskloof
The Pebbles Project and Rhebokskloof Wine Estate will host the Joining Hands launch on 2 November at Rhebokskloof.
Rhebokskloof Wine Estate has acknowledged the need for producers and corporates in the South African Wine Industry to partner with projects and organisations that focus on community upliftment in and around the Winelands. The Pebbles Project works strategically with a five pillar approach by bringing change in the areas of community health, education, nutrition, protection and environmental awareness. Rhebokskloof agrees on the importance of these pillars and is proud to be hosting the first event in the Pebbles Project Joining Hands initiative which is designed to facilitate corporates investing funding and support in the Pebbles Project.

Pieter Hoepfner, Manager at Rhebokskloof, commented: “All Boland wine estates are closely and inextricably linked with the communities around them, and while visitors sometimes only see the cellars and restaurants, the fact is that often a medium sized estate can supply work and income to close to 100 families.” Rhebokskloof Wine Estate has a long and established history as a company that values the importance of corporate social investment and socio-economic development, having played host to many fundraising events to different charitable organisations in the greater Cape Town area and Boland. This focus on mutually beneficial and sustainable business practices have inspired Hoepfner to take the efforts of the estate one step further by teaming up with the Pebbles Project. Together with Sophia Warner, the passionate founder of the Pebbles Project, they have given life to the “Joining Hands initiative”.

The Joining Hands launch event will take place on 2 November at 18h30 at Rhebokskloof. Guests will enjoy a delicious five course meal, award winning wines, live entertainment and an address by David Grier, inspirational speaker, extreme adventurist and celebrity chef. This will be followed by a charity auction. Tickets can be bought at R450 per person on 021 869 8386 or e-mail functions@rhebokskloof.co.za.
