Simone Groot, the winner, and her travel companion Jeannine Evenhuis enjoyed a lovely autumn afternoon overlooking the duck pond, sampling some of Welmoed and other Stellenbosch Vineyards wine. Winemaker Bernard Claassen took some time off a very busy harvest season to show them all the activities in the cellar.
The visitors, who stayed in Stellenbosch, also enjoyed a trip to Cape Town and cable car ride up Table Mountain, as well as a culinary tour on foot, as part of their prize.
