Lanzerac
The Lanzerac Mrs English 2011, a limited selection of the finest Chardonnay grapes the estate has to offer, has recently been selected as one of the Top 100 Wines in South Africa at the 2014 Top 100 Wine Challenge.

This superb wine pays homeage to Mrs Elizabeth Katherina English, who in 1914 purchased the farm Schoongezicht and changed the name to Lanzerac. The timing of the accolade couldn’t be more perfect as this is the 100th year that the farm has been known as Lanzerac. A major milestone indeed!

Judged by an esteemed panel of local and international judges, the Top 100 Wine Challenge is recognised as a leading consumer label both in South Africa and abroad, with premium brands competing for this acknowledgement.

According to winemaker, Wynand Lategan the 2011 vintage is a complex wine with an abundance of citrus flavours on the nose, a full palate and lingering aftertaste. Great care was taken during the blending process to ensure a wine with impeccable balance, character, poise and deliverance.

The perfect wine to enjoy with Smoked Salmon, White Fish, Creamy Pasta Dishes, Pork or Chicken. A limited release wine the Lanzerac Mrs English 2011 is available direct from the cellar at R200 per bottle.
