Introducing Cabernet Espresso and Chardonnay Cappuccino.

Coffee lovers and wine enthusiasts are about to find common ground: Friends Fun Wine, a Florida-based company, has launched the world's first coffee wine.

While imbibers once had to choose between the euphoric jolt of java and the soothing calm of vino, well, technically they still do. The canned beverage doesn't actually contain caffeine.

The brand offers two varieties: Cabernet Coffee Espresso and Chardonnay Coffee Cappuccino.

Joe Peleg, CEO of Friends Fun Wine, says the target demographic for the drink - which is just 6per cent alcohol - is young, active men and women.

'Because it is caffeine free and a low-alcohol drink, it will most likely appeal for fun loving, on-the-go millennials and their lifestyle, whether they're on a boat, on the beach, in a pool party, a barbecue, skiing, snowboarding, at the bar or at a nightclub,' he tells MailOnline.

Femail staffers who tried the two varieties observed that both are best reserved for those with a strong sweet tooth - in fact, the taste of chocolate was prevalent in each.
