Join us every Wednesday evening this July, August and September for a journey on which you will discover the food and culture of countries from around the world.

AROUND THE WORLD
The themed evenings will be led by cellar master Martin Moore, red-wine maker Wilhelm Coetzee or white-wine maker Gunther Kellerman – all avid cooks. One week you could find yourself exploring Peruvian cuisine; the next, pairing wines with Middle eastern delicacies.

The price of R280 per person includes a welcome drink, dinner, wine tasting, coffee and a sweet treat.

NEW FOOD AND WINE PAIRING MENU
Our restaurant, situated a mere 20 minutes from Cape Town’s city centre, has launched a wine and food pairing menu that will change seasonally.

The menu is a culinary delight thoughtfully created by head chef Louisa Greeff, whose flair for combining unusual flavours and textures stood her in good stead in pairing her dishes with our award-winning wines.

The pairing costs R325 per person for the five-course meal which includes wines from Rhinofields and single-vineyard ranges. The menu will be available for lunch from Tuesdays to Sundays and as dinner on a Friday evening. To ensure a seamless and exceptional experience, bookings are required 24 hours in advance and the entire party is required to order the food and wine pairing option.

The new winter menu offers the following pairings:
Amuse Bouche
Scallop ceviche with fennel purée and lemon dressing, paired with Rhinofields Sauvignon Blanc
Braised pork belly and minted apple salad, paired with Rhinofields Merlot

OR
Pumpkin, spinach, pine nut and thyme spring rolls served with a farm yoghurt and cumin dip, paired with Rhinofields Chardonnay
Grilled lamb loin served with sundried tomato polenta and a caramelised baby onion and aubergine jus, paired with Rhinofields Cape Blend

OR
Grilled fish of the day served with roasted baby potatoes and a spinach, tomato and dill salad with white wine jus, paired with Biesjes Craal Sauvignon Blanc
Trio of hand-made ice cream dipped in dark chocolate sauce, paired with Rhinofields Noble Late Harvest.
