Music lovers can join in on the fun on Friday, 12 September from 17h00 - 20h00 on the outdoor terrace in front of the restaurant and cellar building, next to the R44 between Stellenbosch and Somerset West. Pop into the tasting room to buy a bottle of Avontuur’s award-winning wine to enjoy on the evening and a box or two to take home afterwards. A casual terrace menu with three light options is available only on the Music Evenings, and can be ordered from the waitrons. (Last food orders: 19h00). A fun addition to the activities on the evening, and in keeping with Heritage Month, Joubert and Monty biltong purveyors will be presenting some of their interestingly spiced biltong products for the crowd to enjoy with some red wine. Although summer seems to be on its way, our Bedouin tent, heaters and throws are ready for action if necessary, but dressing warmly for an evening outdoors event, is always a good idea.
