Vitis Vinifera Awards
The 2014 Vitis Vinifera Awards competition awarded only nine wines trophy status in their respective categories.
The 2014 Vitis Vinifera Awards saw almost double the entries from the previous year, and we are very pleased with the spectrum of quality wines entered into this year’s competition. The Cape Wine Academy handled the massive logistics to ensure smooth running and an exciting double blind tasting on September 12th. The goodwill experienced from every sector showed that this competition will be a benchmark to consider in years to come.

Congratulations to the following producers, whose wines were awarded trophies in their category:
Chardonnay – GlenWood Chardonnay Vigneron's Selection 2013
Sauvignon Blanc – Nitida Cellars Exclusive Selection Sauvignon blanc 2014
Chenin blanc – Wildekrans Wine Estate Chenin blanc Barrel Select Reserve 2013
