We are very proud to announce that our Dekker's Valley Shiraz Rosé 2013 received a bronze medal at the Global Masters Rosé 2014. Then, back in SA, the same wine recently won a Gold at the Gold Wine Awards. The Gold Wine Awards are a measure of good value as well as quality, as all entries must be under R70 per bottle at retail value.

The Global Rosé Masters is a competition created and run by the UK's influential Drinks Business publication, and is an extension of its successful Global Masters series for major international varieties such as Cabernet Sauvignon, Chardonnay and Pinot Noir. Welcoming rosé entries from around the world, in total nearly 100 wines were judged blind by a group of Masters of Wine and Master Sommeliers using Schott Zwiesel Cru Classic glasses supplied by Wine Sorted. Wines were awarded Gold, Silver and Bronze medals, with only the very highest scoring the highest accolade of Master medal. The rosés were tasted over the course of a single day at Hardy’s Brasserie in Marylebone, London.

And, as Spring is now on our door step, be sure to stock your fridge with some of our award wining Rosé - a wonderfully refreshing wine to drink with friends and family alike!
