Spier
After stints in Cape Town and Johannesburg, the Spier Secret Courtyard is coming to the heart of Spier wine farm from 18 December. Our much-loved pop-up wine bar will be setting up shop in the Jonkershuis, next door to Allan Lutge's pop-up gallery, with tables and chairs spilling out in to the historic courtyard.

The Werf, formerly the home of moyo restaurant, is now undergoing a meticulous restoration.

While there will be an extensive range of wines on offer, Creative Block – Spier’s flagship range of award-winning blends – will be taking centre stage. Drinkers will be able to enjoy Creative Block 2 2014, a blend of Sauvignon Blanc and Sémillon, which won Jacques Erasmus, Spier’s senior white wine winemaker Diners Club Winemaker of the Year 2014.

There will be a selection of Spier’s favourite food trucks providing delicious eats as well as snacks from Eight, Spier’s farm-to-table restaurant. Live music will be performed on Saturdays and Sundays. The Spier Secret Courtyard is open from Monday to Sunday, 10am – 6pm, from 15 December.
