Taste South Africa at the inaugural Biltong and Pinotage Festival, presented by Joubert & Monty Famous Biltong on Saturday, 18 April 2015 from 11h00-18h00, when two of our country’s most beloved delicacies will be on offer at L’Avenir Wine Estate just outside Stellenbosch.

A range of spiced biltong products will be available including smoky sweet chilli, spicy BBQ, sweet red pepper and many more. A gourmet barbecue section featuring eats jazzed up with J & M’s popular braai spices, will make sure no-one goes hungry. Fest goers can taste and buy some of SA’s best red Pinotages or have fun with alternatives including rosé’s, bubblies, blends, dessert wines and even a white Pinotage!

The event is family-friendly with free kids entertainment, live music, light meals and casual seating under the trees next to the dam or on the lawns in front of the cellar. For the more serious wine lover, book for the L’Avenir Pinotage master classes presented by winemaker Dirk Coetzee in the winery’s newly opened VIP Pinotage Lounge.
