1682 - Before & After
Talking about festivities, we kick off our celebrations with an art competition themed Blaauwklippen 1682 - Before & After, which will visually capture the cultural heritage of Blaauwklippen.
Artists are invited to submit entries in various mediums, including painting, printmaking, photography, drawing, multi-media, illustration and sculpture with the theme as inspiration. Only the first 333 entries will be accepted, and entries must be submitted electronically via the Blaauwklippen website for consideration. From the 333 entries, 33 finalists will be selected for a 3 week exhibition at Blaauwklippen during September 2015. For the winner, a cash prize of R3333 is up for grabs! Now here is the Good News, the deadline for registration has been extended to the end of February, so please spread the word!
