PYDA (the
Pinotage Youth Development Academy), based in Stellenbosch, develops the
capacity of young, disadvantaged South Africans to prepare them for employment
within the wine industry and related sectors, such as hospitality and tourism.
This Academy is
entering its third academic year. This programme,
which is fully funded, will run for 12 months from June 2015 until May 2016.
We are calling for applications from
talented and committed students who must:

South African

Demonstrate
an active interest in the wine industry / agriculture

resident in Stellenbosch, Paarl, Franschhoek and surrounding areas

Be
able to communicate in English

Have
passed Grade 12 (matric)
|
√
|
Be
unable to access tertiary education
|
√
|
Be
unemployed or in casual employment

|
Demonstrate
financial need
|

|
Be
previously disadvantaged

proficiency in Maths / Maths literacy
