Various applicable courses, mentoring, coaching and financing options are available to assist and guide young, passionate wine industry role players with a strong entrepreneurial streak in setting up their own business entities in the Wine Industry.
The initiative was born from Bartho Eksteen’s desire to plough knowledge and experience back into the industry by educating the next generation and it was supported since its inception in 2010 by various suppliers to the Wine Industry, Boland Agricultural High School and Diners Club.
GROW Wynsentrum (Pty) Ltd, The DTI, African Skills TVET College and Diners Club International joined forces to make the Wine Entrepreneur Support Programme available to young, aspiring future role players in the Wine Industry.
APPLICATION:
Consider the following when applying for the Wine Entrepreneur Support Programme:
• The duration of the Support Programme is 3 years, maximum 5 years depending on how you and your business develop
• Which wine personality, in your opinion, will be an ideal wine and/or business mentor?
• Do you have a mission and vision for your own business?
• Wherein lies your passion?
• Are you ready and committed to take on the responsibility of owning your own business?
