Grande Provence
Adding an artistic twist to the annual Franschhoek Literary Festival, The Gallery at Grande Provence Heritage Wine Estate is showcasing Fluit, fluit my storie is uit, an exhibition by artists Marinda du Toit and Aidon Westcott curated especially for the weekend of Friday, 15 May to Sunday, 17 May.

Inspired by stories from all over the world, Du Toit’s signature three dimensional assemblage sculptures, intertwined with mixed media collages by Westcott, provide a rich storybook tapestry and is a must on your festival itinerary.

Both artists have exhibited their works extensively in local art galleries. Westcott exhibits regularly at the National Arts Festival in Grahamstown, and Du Toit featured specially designed sculpture characters as well as music compositions for the short animation film Little Bang.

Open from 10h00 to 18h00 daily, The Gallery at Grande Provence Heritage Wine Estate features Fluit, fluit my storie is uit until Sunday, 17 May. For more information on The Gallery, call Tel: 021 876 8630 or send an e-mail to gallery@grandeprovence.co.za.
