This year’s competition commemorates a monumental milestone. Veritas is celebrating 25 years as South Africa’s largest and most influential wine competition. The Veritas emblem of excellence, which adorns the winning products, has instilled trust in the consumer and the market alike as a reputable indicator of quality. The Veritas awards started as an industry initiative in 1991 to give guidelines to the consumer of quality wines that are bottled and ready for the market place.
The rigorous judging process is an integral part of the competition’s esteemed reputation. Top international and local wine experts will assess the medal contenders from 18-23 September.
The award-winning wines and brandies will be unveiled at the glittering Veritas Awards Gala Dinner which will take place on 9 October at the CTICC, a much anticipated annual highlight on the industry calendar.
Following the announcement of the results, the 2015 Veritas double gold and gold winners will be showcased to the trade and consumers at tastings countrywide.
