VinPro appoints new agricultural economist

Funzani Sundani, a specialist in market research at Grain SA, joined VinPro on 1 August 2015 as an agricultural economist.

She obtained her BSc Agric honours degree in agricultural economy from the University of the Free State, after which she worked as a procurement intern at Nova Feeds.

Funzani was employed as agricultural economist: market research at Grain SA for the past three years. This included analyses of prices and markets with regard to grain and oil seed. She was also responsible for research on strategies surrounding export promotion and the development of new markets, as well as forecasts in this sector.

VinPro is the representative organisation for close to 3 500 South African wine producers and cellars.
