The Italians have a way of using the simplest ingredients to make your taste buds tingle.

Trust a Frenchman to think of pairing the simple Italian pizza with some great South African Wines!
A few years ago I had one of the most delicious taste experiences ever and not surprisingly, it was an Italian delight: simple freshly pressed virgin olive oil dribble on to toast rubbed with garlic and salt at Morgenster.

Our inimitable worldly Frenchman Jean Vincent Ridon has taken on another simple Italian favourite, the Marguerita pizza, which as you may know is made of the basic ingredients; tomato paste, pizza base and fresh basil leaves.  Another of my favourites! 

This Italian Dolce Vita Extreme Pairing Video is the 4th in our series.. and you will see a total of 12 being released over the next few months.
