Bouchard Finlayson
Bouchard Finlayson and The Hermanus Music Society (H.M.S.) are celebrating a longstanding partnership this month, with its 100th concert taking place at the Hemel-en-Aarde winery on Friday 29 January 2016. Christopher Duigan (piano) and Joanna Frankel (violin) will delight guests during this milestone performance, which is already sold out.

H.M.S concerts have been held in Bouchard Finlayson’s atmospheric wine cellar since March 2002, which, as winemaker Peter Finlayson states, ‘happens to have superb acoustics.’ The Society’s current Chairman, Cliff Moran, says that, besides the unique venue, the key to the sustained success of the H.M.S. has been Jetteke Press, a professional musician and founder member of the Society, who through her wide network of contacts has been able to engage more than 250 fine musicians from all over the world to perform at Bouchard Finlayson for the Hermanus Music Society.

The concert presents the perfect opportunity for fans of classical music and fine wine to combine both in a truly unique setting, with concert goers also being able to enjoy a complimentary glass of one of Bouchard Finlayson’s fine vintages on the evening.
