Jason’s Hill
Regarded as one of the more ‘noble’ wine varietals the Jason’s Hill Cabernet Sauvignon 2013 will no doubt be your go to wine this winter. And what would winter be without a fruity Merlot? Look no further than the Jason’s Hill Merlot 2013.

Winemaker, Ivy du Toit describes the awarding winning full-bodied Cabernet Sauvignon as displaying an abundance of cassis, blackberry and other dark fruit flavours, with tobacco and cigar box complexities. A well-balanced wine guaranteed to age well, with fine integrated tannins. A Gold medal recipient at the 2015 Gold Wine Awards and 2015 Vitis Vinifera Awards, respectively, the wine is ready to drink now, but will reach its full maturation potential within the next eight to 12 years if cellared correctly. The perfect food wine to enjoy with sticky barbequed beef ribs, chargrilled steak, pork shank or even a succulent leg of lamb. Available directly from the Tasting Room at R85 per bottle or select liquor outlets nationwide.

A Platinum medal winner at the 2015 Michelangelo International Awards as well as a Gold medal recipient at the 2015 Gold Wine Awards, the full-bodied Merlot is a well-rounded wine with a deep rich colour. Showing perfect ageing potential the wine displays typical fruit flavours such as mulberry and other dark fruit, yet with a gentle mouth feel. Although ready to be enjoyed now this award-winning wine will ready its full maturation potential within the next eight to 12 years. Also available directly from the Tasting Room at R80 per bottle or select outlets nationwide.
