Nederburg
Nederburg has won two trophies, three gold and five silver medals at this year's Old Mutual Trophy Wine Show to emerge as one of the top three performers in the competition.

The trophies were awarded to The Young Airhawk 2015, a wooded Sauvignon blanc, judged the best Sauvignon blanc of the show, and the Private Bin Eminence 2012, that took the highest score in the unfortified dessert wine category. Just a few weeks ago, the same sweet wine won a trophy at the International Wine Challenge in London. Both trophy wines scored 95 points each and took gold medals, as did the 2005 vintage of Nederburg's famous Edelkeur with a score of 93.

The silver medals went to The Winemasters Noble Late Harvest 2014 and The Young Airhawk 2014 that both garnered five star ratings in this year's edition of Platter's South African Wine Guide, as well as to The Anchorman 2015, (a Chenin blanc) and two wines made for sale on the Nederburg Auction: The Private Bin R181 Merlot 2012 and Eminence 2009.

Earlier this year, Nederburg was one of just 50 wineries globally to feature on the prestigious 2016 Drinks International list of the world's most admired brands. The list was compiled by 200 wine experts, including 30 Masters of Wine.
