Nederburg’s red-wine maker, Samuel Viljoen, and his family will be there too.
Chef Edmore Ruzoza is rustling up hearty mussel chowder or five-spice Asian duck spring rolls for starters. Mains will be a choice between grilled AAA-grade T-bone steak served with triple baked potatoes, wokked greens and green peppercorn sauce; fresh line fish with cauliflower mash, wilted greens and cherry tomato olive jus; and lemon thyme mushroom bake with rocket, parmesan shavings and decadent truffle oil. The finale will be Nederburg's renowned brandy date pudding and cinnamon ice cream, or caramel chocolate fondant with mixed berry compote and vanilla ice cream.
There will be a wide selection of Nederburg wines, offered by the glass and by the bottle, including The Winemasters, Heritage Heroes, Ingenuity and Two Centuries collections.
To top it off, every father will be treated to a surprise gift from Nederburg.
Lunch on Father’s Day will be served from 12:00 at R350 per person (wine and service charge excluded). Booking is essential, and full payment is required to secure a booking.
