Horse lovers are invited to book for one of two Farm Walks to learn more about them on Thursday, 18 August or Thursday, 25 August 2016.
The walk will be led by either Michael or Philip Taberer and will visit some of the mares and their offspring in the paddocks. On arrival at the stables, visitors will meet our two stallions Var and Oratorio and participate in a Q & A session with General Manager and Thoroughbred expert Pippa Mickleburgh. After a casual walk back to the Winery guests will return to the tasting room for a Wine and Chocolate pairing with a light lunch afterwards.
The cost is R250 pp (Includes the tour, the chocolate & wine pairing and the light lunch).
A limited number of visitors can be accommodated for the two dates and bookings will only be confirmed once payment is received. The walk to the stables is not strenuous and in total will be about an hour, but participants are advised to wear comfy clothing and shoes, and sun protection if necessary.
